via the Torpedo Road Gate on Crescent Harbor Road. Tell the guards that you are going
to the Naval History Center, building 12. You will need to show
photo ID, your car registration and insurance papers. |

The Seaplane Base auto gate and the walk-in gate by Skagit Valley
College are open to the public.

Naval Air Station Whidbey is comprised of
two bases five miles apart: the Seaplane Base and the Naval Air
Station (also known as Ault Field.) The Seaplane Base is on the
eastern shore at the edge of the town of Oak Harbor. The PBY
Foundation Office & Display Site is located on the Seaplane
Base in building 12 - where it all began.
