Regarding the request from the PBY Memorial Association, I
fully support in concept the efforts of the PBY Memorial
Association to return a PBY to Oak Harbor. The PBY represents a
large part of the history of this Station, and it and those who
flew and maintained the aircraft certainly should be recognized.
Naval Air Station Whidbey Island will assist wherever
possible in helping you identify a site to locate the aircraft.
